About Dr. Ruma Yadav (PT)
Dr. Ruma Yadav is the Head of Department and Senior Consultant Physiotherapist, with 12 years of experience in neurological and orthopaedic rehabilitation.
She holds a BPT and an MPT in Neurology, and specialises in Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) rehabilitation. Her neurological practice covers stroke, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, Guillain–Barré syndrome, transverse myelitis, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, facial palsy and Parkinson's disease.
Her orthopaedic rehabilitation work includes recovery after total hip and knee replacement, rotator cuff reconstruction and arthroscopy of all joints, as well as the management of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, cervical and lumbar spondylosis, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, plantar fasciitis, ligament sprains and muscle strains.
She is trained in advanced techniques including PNF, dry needling, manual therapy, myofascial release, cupping therapy, kinesiology taping and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilisation.
